Gallant Bicycles is a Toronto-based bicycle company creating customizable urban bicycles. Customers can select from a variety of shapes and colour options to create their own personalized bicycle. The concept behind the branding for Gallant stemmed from the vision behind the company; a simple and classic aesthetic mixed with contemporary production methods and efficiencies. The colour scheme is reflective of city traffic and directional signage seen within the urban environment.
The scope of this project included branding, stationery & other printed collateral and exterior signage.
Personal identity that adheres to an understated modern approach, reflective of my design sensibilities and style. Using my initials I was able to create a simplified, contemporary, graphic monogram. With a clean black & white colour palette, I was able to create a dynamic and flexible identity system, using a combination of papers, foils and embossings.
Giftagramis a new, simple way to send thoughtful gifts using your smartphone. Giftagram is currently based in Toronto and works alongside some of the best retailers in the city to offer a wide range of gifts including massage treatments from Hammam Spa, ping pong games at SPiN and biscotti made by Forno Cultura. This app enables you to integrate and sync all of your calendars and send gifts directly to someone's door.
I wanted to create a an iconic logo that would evoke excitement and dynamic impact. The logo takes on a 3/4 view of a wrapped gift that is also very balanced and geometric, utilizing a hexagonal shape. The angle of the gift underneath the logo type creates a dynamic feeling of the gift jumping out to be unwrapped. For the colour scheme I wanted to create a fresh & bright take on what has previously dominated user's iPhone homescreens. The seafoam green is both masculine and feminine and evokes excitement and engagement. The scope of this project included branding and app icon design. Designed at Salt&Pepper

About Design Corp.
About Design Corp. is a retail venture in Toronto, specializing in custom leather clothing and accessories. Owners and designers Dean Hutchinson and Yunchieh Chang wanted to create an aesthetic of mystery and allure. I designed the identity to reflect the dictionary formatting of the definition of the word "about". The identity is reflective of the definition, and parallels with the intentions behind the clothing; it creates a subtle statement and is more about how a person wears a garment, or how garment's style & aesthetic can change depending on who is wearing it.
The project included branding, art direction, signage, stationery, web design, video direction & production, as well as photography.

Big Pig Production Co. is a Toronto based production company that works with a wide variety of clientele. The inspiration for the branding of Big Pig Production Co. came from Toronto's rich history, being dubbed "Hog Town". The Kawartha Leather Co.
The Kawartha Leather Co is a bespoke, hand-made, locally produced leather goods company based out of Toronto. With this project, the logo had to be something with a nod to traditional production methods and craft, yet retained a simplistic aesthetic that wouldn't detract from the product. The careful alignments within the logo showcase an attention to detail and use of feathers gives a sense of uniqueness and delicacy. However, the logo itself is very durable and can be used at both large and small sizes alike; it was important that it could be used at a small size for applications such as hang-tags and a leather brand for small goods like wallets.
